Hays, Kansas July 2014 - Nex-Tech Wireless and TC Wireless, a subsidiary of Tri-County Telephone Association based in Council Grove, (TCT) announced today that they have entered into a purchase agreement under which TC Wireless will acquire a 10% interest in Nex-Tech Wireless. The agreement has been approved by both companies’ board of directors/managers.
The partnership will enhance the spectrum holdings of Nex-Tech Wireless allowing for expansion into East Central Kansas. The transaction represents a major initiative by both companies to provide customers with superior wireless products and services; as well as local customer service and support. The deal is expected to close after receiving all necessary regulatory approvals. The first phase of a three phase build plan is expected to be completed in 2015.
